Mango is the recipient of several awards over the past four years that have included a World Low Cost Airline Budgie Award for its marketing, three PRISM Awards for its Communication and PR, a PRISM Awards for its in flight magazine Juice and Best African Low Cost Carrier at the World Travel Awards in 2008.
Every airport that Mango operates from also saw its regions awarded with an ACSA Feather Award recognising every station over the past two years. Mango’s ground handling in Bloemfontein, where the airline services several other carriers, was also recognised for its service excellence.
The Sunday Times Generation Next Awards has also, for two years running, counted Mango as the “Coolest” low cost airline in South Africa while its climb on the Sunday Times Brands and Branding chart sees the airline top the low cost category at this time.
